Hi all,

Thanks to you all for your continued support at Eshott Airfield. Over the past nine months, we’ve been working hard to establish the new flying school and engineering while looking at how to address the challenges of operating with the infrastructure we’ve taken on.

When the airfield changed hands back in March 2024 all of the pricing remained the same. We’ve now conducted a full review of our current operational costs and the fees we charge. As is blatantly obvious, the site infrastructure needs significant investment and there are rising costs across all aspects of the businesses. This is impacting our ability to sustain current pricing.

The planning application for the new ops building is now live on the council's planning portal.

Hi all,

Typically the cafe would close or have shorter opening hours over winter but we've closed the cafe for the moment.

This isn't permanent, it's to allow us to look at options for reopening.

We'll let you know when the cafe will be reopening. In the meantime, tea, coffee and biscuits are still available in the clubhouse for members.

The cafe will still be open.
