Price review

In case you haven't seen, we've issued an email regarding pricing. Here's the email:

Hi all,

Thanks to you all for your continued support at Eshott Airfield. Over the past nine months, we’ve been working hard to establish the new flying school and engineering while looking at how to address the challenges of operating with the infrastructure we’ve taken on.

When the airfield changed hands back in March 2024 all of the pricing remained the same. We’ve now conducted a full review of our current operational costs and the fees we charge. As is blatantly obvious, the site infrastructure needs significant investment and there are rising costs across all aspects of the businesses. This is impacting our ability to sustain current pricing.

To ensure we maintain the quality and safety you expect, while covering these increasing costs, we will be implementing a modest price change effective from 1 January 2025.

Hourly costs for the Cessna 150s will go from £155 to £160 per hour.

Hourly costs for the Cessna 172 and PA28s will go from £190 to £200 per hour.

Membership for 2025/2026 will go from £175 to £190 for the year.

We’ve tried to ensure that changes remain as small as possible, balancing operational needs with your expectations and the level of service we provide.

We genuinely appreciate your support for Eshott Airfield but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
