I’m pleased to confirm that we’ll be hosting a GASCo Safety Event on Monday 5 August 2024 at Eshott Airfield. If you haven’t been to a GASCo (General Aviation Safety Council) event before, they are designed balance serious safety messages with lively audience participation. 

GASCo Chief Executive Mike O’Donoghue will be kicking off the event at 6pm. We’d be delighted if you could join us. We’ll be serving some hot food from 4.30pm onwards.

We hope that no matter how long you’ve been flying or what aircraft type your fly, that the event will help you stop and think about how you can make your future flying a bit safer, for yourself and others.

REGRETFULLY, FOR OPERATIONAL REASONS A DIFFICULT DECISION HAS BEEN MADE TO POSTPONE OUR 06-24 FLY-IN SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE THIS COMING WEEKEND SATURDAY 8TH AND SUNDAY 9TH JUNE. WE PLAN TO HOLD THE EVENT IN THE FUTURE. IN THE MEANTIME, THE AIRPORT REMAINS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, AND WE CONTINUE TO LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING BOTH EXISTING AND NEW VISITORS TO OUR SUPERB FACILITY

There's a Grumman Flyin at Carlisle Airport on Saturday 1 June 2024 but it is open to all aircraft types.
