Whilst recreational flying quite rightly stops to help contain the spread of Covid19, you’ll still find an array of flying machines in the skies above keeping things going. Eshott Airfield remains open 24/7 to the crews of utility company helicopters, the emergency services and of course our incredible Armed Forces.
Today the British Army were at Eshott for fuel with one of their Wildcat helicopters, Villan71. The helicopter was fuelling in less than 6 minutes from touchdown prior to a speedy departure. Wildcat helicopters are being used as part of Operation Rescript, contributing to the National effort against Covid19.
Stay safe everyone!
